• Sam Audrain, PhD

    Assistant Professor

Dr. Audrain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University. She completed her BA at McGill University and her PhD at the University of Toronto. Before returning to McGill, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Audrain’s research utilizes fMRI and EEG to understand the neural substrates of long-term memory formation, storage, and retrieval in typical adults and in populations with memory dysfunction. Outside of the lab, she enjoys hiking, painting, and reading a good book.

  • Steven Kritsilas

    Graduate Student

Hi, I’m Steven! I’m a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Neuroscience at McGill university. Broadly, I am most interested by the cognitive side of epilepsy and how organizational changes in the brains of patients alters their cognition. My current research focuses on analyzing the nature of memory deficits in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy and trying to find the potential mechanisms behind them. Outside of the lab, I enjoy trying new restaurants, going on walks and gaming.

  • Veronica Cramm

    Graduate Student

Veronica is a first year master's student in the Integrated Program in Neuroscience. She holds two Honours Bachelor’s degrees from Carleton University: a BSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health, and a BCogSci with a specialization in the Biological Foundations of Cognition. Veronica is interested in the impact of methodology and analysis choices on study conclusions, as well as memory encoding and retention in clinical populations. Outside of the lab, Veronica enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and reading.

  • Anna Vallette d’Osia

    Undergraduate Student

Anna is a second-year undergraduate student at McGill University studying Psychology. She is particularly interested in cognition, with a focus on understanding both the cognitive and neural processes underlying long-term human memory. Outside of the lab, Anna enjoys playing soccer with her friends, rock climbing and scuba diving.

  • Amelia Bell

    Undergraduate Student

Hello! My name is Amelia, and I’m a U3 undergraduate student in Psychology with minors in Behavioral Science and Social Studies of Medicine. This year, I’m working with Veronica on my Honors-equivalent research project investigating accelerated long-term forgetting in participants with subjective cognitive decline through a sleep study. More broadly, I’m interested in the neural processes underlying memory, particularly in clinical populations. Outside of the lab, I enjoy drawing, watching movies, and hiking.
